Adding Notes to Order

The Notes tab lets you add additional information related to the part order. In the Notes tab, you can:

·       View Notes

·       Add Notes

·       Edit Notes

·       Delete Notes

Tip

To view the Notes tab, click the Notes link.

Note: A notes icon in the Notes tab indicate that a note is added to the part order.

To view a note

  1. Search and view the appropriate record.
  2. Click the Notes tab.
  3. You can view the notes in one of the following ways:

  1. Search and view the appropriate record.
  2. Click the Notes tab.
  3. Click the Add New Notes link.

The Add Order Note dialog box opens.

  1. In the Subject box and Note box, type the subject and details of the note respectively.

Required fields are marked with a red *.

  1. Click one of the following:

Note: After you add note to a part order, the notes icon is displayed in the Notes tab.

To edit a note

  1. Search and view the appropriate record.
  2. Click the Notes tab.
  3. Click next to the note you want to edit.
  4. Click the Edit Note link.

The Edit Order Note dialog box opens.

  1. Make the desired changes.
  2. Click one of the following:
To delete a note

  1. Search and view the appropriate record.
  2. Click the Notes tab.
  3. Click next to the note you want to delete.
  4. Click the Edit Note link.

The Edit Order Note dialog box opens.

  1. Click Delete.
  2. In the Delete Order Note dialog box, click one of the following:
