Managing Notes
The notes are add-on information that you may want to provide to other stakeholders in a workflow. On the Notes tab, you can add new notes, and also view, modify, or delete the notes you had previously added.
You can view, create, and manage notes related to items in FASTER Web.
Note: A notes icon in the Notes tab indicate that a note is added to the item record.

To view a note
Steps to view a note
- Search and view the appropriate record.
- Click the Notes tab.
- You can view the notes in one of the following ways:
- Click the Show All Notes link to view all the notes.
- Click the
next to the note you want to view.
Tip
To view the Add Note dialog box, click the Add Note link.
To add a note
Steps to add a note to a record
- Search and view the appropriate record.
- Click the Notes tab.
- Click the Add New Notes link.
- In the Subject box and Note box, type the subject and details of the note respectively.
Required fields are marked with a red *.
- When finished, click one of the following:
- Save to save the note and close the Add Note dialog box.
- Save & New to save the note and add another note.
- Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
Note: After you add note to a item record, the notes icon is displayed in the Notes tab.

To edit a note
Steps to edit a note
- Search and view the appropriate record.
- Click the Notes tab.
- Click
next to the note you want to edit.
- Click the Edit Note link.
- Make the desired changes.
- When finished, click one of the following:
- Save to save the note and close the dialog box.
- Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
To delete a note
Steps to delete a note
- Search and view the appropriate record.
- Click the Notes tab.
- Click
next to the note you want to delete.
- Click the Edit Note link.
- Click Delete.
- Click one of the following:
- Yes to confirm the deletion.
- Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
