TipThe search functionality available on the Inventory module helps you to find the part, fuel and fluid items that are added to FASTER Web. In the inventory search, use the following search criteria to refine your search:
· Item- Searches items by item number.
· Vendor Item- Searches items by vendor item number.
After performing the search operation, you can click an item result to view or update the details.

Note: · The search functionality on the Inventory module supports partial matches. For example, a search for 456 displays the records containing 456 anywhere in the item number or vendor item number, such as 12456, 45637, and 14569. · You can select the Exact Match check box to exactly match the search result with the search parameter. |
Tip
To view Search Inventory, click the Search Inventory link.
1. In the Search Inventory section, type a whole or partial item number or vendor item number.
2. Press Enter or click Search (
).

Note: To narrow the search results based on multiple search parameters, click the Advanced Search link. |
3. The search results are displayed in one of the following ways:
o If there is only a single result that matches the search value, the Master tab of that item opens.
o If there are multiple results that match the search value, the Advanced Search Options - Inventory window opens. Narrow the search results using the advanced search options and click View next to an item to display the Master tab.
