The Availability (TLAvailability) page lets you configure and manage the asset availability picklist values. The Availability picklist is displayed in the Setup module of FASTER Web. The asset availability settings are useful to know when an asset is available for pickup.
In the Availability page, you can perform the following:
Tip
To view the picklist page of the Availability field, click the Availability link.
The Add Picklist Value dialog box lets you add new asset availability values for the Availability(TLAvailability) picklist field.
Tip
To view the Add Picklist Value dialog box, click the Add Picklist Value link.
1. Open the Asset Fields page.
2. Click the View link next to the Availability field.
The Availability(TLAvailability) picklist page opens.
3. Click Add New Item.
The Add Picklist Value dialog box opens.
4. In the Availability Code box, type a code, which may be alphanumeric, to identify various availability options.
5. In the Availability Description box, type a description about the availability period that you want to add to the Availability list.
6. Select the No Downtime Track check box, if you do not want to consider the downtime for an asset when setting up its availability.
Note: If you select the No Downtime Track check box, the following fields are disabled: Include Holidays, Available Hours, and Working Days.
7. Under Include Holidays, click Yes if you want to make the asset available on holidays, or click No to exclude holidays.
8. In the Available Hours section, do one of the following:
Provide Start Time and End Time during which the asset will be available.
Select the 24 Hours check box to make the asset available for 24 hours.
Note: If you select the 24 Hours check box, the Start Time and End Time boxes are populated with 12:00 AM and become disabled.
Select the days of the week on which you want to make the asset available from the Non Working Days section, and click the button to add them to the Working Days section.
Note: If you want to add all the days to the Working Days section, click the button. If you want to make the asset unavailable on a day, select that day and click the
button to move the day back to the Non Work Days section. You can move all the selected days back to the Non Work Days section by clicking the
button.

Tip
To view the Edit Picklist Value dialog box, click the Edit Picklist Value link.
1. Open the Asset Fields page.
2. Click the View link next to the Availability field.
The Availability(TLAvailability) page opens.
3. Click the Edit link next to an availability picklist that you want to edit.
The Edit Picklist Value dialog box opens.
4. Make changes as required.
Note: If FASTER Web is upgraded to a new version and if the difference between the Start Time and End Time is one minute less of 24 hours in the earlier version, then the 24 Hours check box is selected, by default. The Start Time and End Time is displayed as 12:00 AM.
5. Click one of the following:
§ Save to save the information and close the dialog box.
§ Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
The Obsolete Picklist Value dialog box lets you hide the availability picklist from the Availability list so that it is not used in future transactions.
Tip
To view the Obsolete Picklist Value dialog box, click the Obsolete Picklist Value link.
1. Open the Asset Fields page.
2. Click the View link next to the Availability field.
The Availability(TLAvailability) page opens.
3. Click the Edit link next to an availability setting that you want to edit.
The Edit Picklist Value dialog box opens.
4. Click the Make Value Obsolete link.
The Obsolete Picklist Value dialog box opens.
5. Click one of the following:
§ Yes, Make Value Obsolete to make the value obsolete.
§ Cancel to disregard changes and close the dialog box.
The Delete Picklist Value dialog box lets you permanently delete an availability picklist from FASTER Web.
Note: You can permanently delete an availability value, only if it is not previously used in FASTER Web transactions. Optionally, you can hide it from future transactions by making the picklist value obsolete.

To view the Delete Picklist Value dialog box, click the Delete Picklist Value link.

2. Click the View link next to the Availability field.
The Availability(TLAvailability) page opens.
3. Click the Edit link next to an availability picklist that you want to edit.
The Edit Picklist Value dialog box opens.
4. Click the Delete link.
The Delete Picklist Value dialog box opens.
5. Click one of the following:
§ Yes, Delete Value to permanently delete the value from the picklist.
§ Cancel to disregard changes and close the dialog box.
