From the Reports Settings page, you can configure the credentials for report viewer that is used to access reports in FASTER Web, and also deploy standard reports on a report server.
The Edit Credentials for Report Viewer dialog box lets you set the domain, user name, and password to view reports in FASTER Web.
Tip
To view the Edit Credentials for Report Viewer page, click the Edit Credentials for Report Viewer link.
1. Click the Setup module.
2. In the Application Setup section, do one of the following:
§ Click next to the Reports option, and then click Settings.
§ In the Reports section of Application Setup, click the Settings link.
The Reports Settings page opens.
3. In the Credentials for Report Viewer section, click Edit Credentials for Report Viewer.
The Edit Credentials for Report Viewer dialog box opens.
4. In the Report Viewer Domain box, type the Report Viewer Domain. It is the domain name of the user who has permission to view reports. If the user with permission to view reports is a local user on the reports server, the Report Viewer Domain is the name of the computer on which the report server is hosted. You can also check the domain and username details in Control Panel > Manage User Accounts.
5. In the Report Viewer Username box, type the Report Viewer Username.
6. In the Report Viewer Password box, type the Report Viewer Password.
Note: If the Report Viewer user name and password are validated in the first attempt, you can leave the password box blank while modifying the settings. However, if you change the user name, you must provide a valid password. Special characters such as <>, %, &, are not accepted in the Report Viewer Password.
7. Click one of the following:
§ Save to save the information and close the dialog box.
§ Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
The Standard Report Deployment function provides the capability to deploy standard reports on a report server from FASTER Web. The report server details and the standard report definition file path are configured in the Web.config file. The standard report deployment function is available only to FASTER staff and is password protected.

To view the Standard Report Deployment page, click the Standard Report Deployment link.
1. Click the Setup module.
2. In the Application Setup section, do one of the following:
§ Click next to the Reports option, and then click Settings.
§ In the Reports section of Application Setup, click the Settings link.
The Reports Settings page opens.
3. In the Credentials for Report Viewer section, click the Standard Report Deployment link.
The Unlock Standard Report Deployment dialog box opens.
4. Type the password and click Validate.
The Standard Report Deployment page opens.
5. In the Report Server Credential section, provide the credentials of the user with deployment rights on the report server:

6. Click the Deploy Standard Reports button.
FASTER Web validates the information specified in the Standard Report Deployment page and in the Web.config file and checks whether the Reports folder exists inside the Report Sub folder. If the Reports folder does not exist, a folder {Report Sub Folder}\ {Reports Folder} is created.
When the reports are deployed successfully, the All standard reports are deployed successfully in the mentioned Report server message is displayed. If the deployment process encounters errors, the relevant error message is displayed.
