Searching Labor Standard Options

The search functionality available on the Labor Standard page helps you to find the labor standard in FASTER Web. The labor standard search display records based on the data provided in the available search options.

After performing the search operation, you can view the details of the labor standard in the Picklist section.

Note: The search option Labor Standard Description supports partial matches. For example, a search for 456 displays the records containing 456 anywhere in the labor standard description such as 12456, 45637, and 14569.

Tip

To view Search Labor Standard Options, click the Search Labor Standard Options link.

To search a labor standard option

1.    Open the Maintenance Fields page.

2.    Click the View link next to the Labor Standard field.

The Labor Standard picklist page opens.

3.    In the Labor Standard Description box, type the description of the labor standard.

4.    In the Class Description list, select the class description of the asset.

5.    In the Repair Group Description list, select the description of the repair group.

6.    In the Repair Component Description list, select the description of the repair component.

Note: The Repair Component Description list is enabled only after you select a repair group in the Repair Group Description list.

7.    In the Repair Action Description list, select the description of the repair action.

Note: The Repair Action Description list is enabled only after you select a repair component in the Repair Component Description list.

8.    Click Search.

The Picklist section displays the search results.

Navigation Tips:

  • To expand or collapse the grids in the search window, click to the right of the title bars.
  • To move the grids in the search window, drag a grid to a desired location. To save the position of the grid, click the icon. The position of the grids will be the same next time you open the search window.
  • To sort the search results displayed in a column by any category, click the column header.
  • To browse through the search results, use the arrows in the lower part of the picklist grid. You can also specify whether to display the entire search result or ten results at a time.
