Beginning an Indirect Activity from the Work Order Repair page

You can start your indirect activities from the Work Order Repair page.

Tip

To view the My Work Order Repair page, click the My Work Order Repair link.

To add an Indirect Activity from Work Order Repair page

1.    Click the Begin an Indirect Activity button to the right of the screen.

The Select an Indirect Activity dialog box is displayed.

2.    Select the appropriate Activity.

Note:

  • To page through the list, use the arrow at the bottom of the screen.
  • The system begins counting your time towards the new Indirect Activity as soon as you select an Activity.
  • You can begin as indirect activity for a work order, only if the spending limit for that work order is not exceeded.
  • If you click the Begin an Indirect Activity button and if the work order cost reaches its limit, the TWSWeb message box is displayed to request authorization for the exceeded spending limit by sending an email to the approver.
  • Only after the spending limit is approved, you can begin an indirect activity.
