Editing an Item Information

The Identification section of the Master tab displays the basic details of an item including the item usage, item snapshot, average pricing, last issue, last receipt and last 12 month activity. With required permission, you can modify or update the details of an item using the Edit Identification link.

Tip

To view the Identification section, click the Identification link.

To edit an item information

1.    Search and view an item record that you want to edit.

2.    In the Identification section of the Master tab, click the Edit Identification link.

3.    In the Edit Item Identification dialog box, make the changes as desired.

4.    Click one of the following:

o      Save to save the information and close the dialog box.

o      Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.

Adding an Item

The Edit Item Identification dialog box lets you add an to the item.

To add an item

1.    Search and view an item record.

2.    In the Identification section of the Master tab, click the Edit Identification link.

3.    In the Edit Item Identification dialog box, click Select next to the Item field.

4.    Navigate to the location of the that you want to add, and then click Open.

5.    Click Save.

Note: Click Clear to clear the selected.

The item is displayed in the Identification section.

Removing an Item

With the required permission, you can remove the item .

To remove an item

1.    Search and view an item record.

2.    In the Identification section of the Master tab, click the Edit Identification link.

3.    In the Edit Item Identification dialog box, click Remove next to the Item field.

4.    Click Save to complete the action.
