Editing Stock Settings

The Stock Setting section lets you specify the physical count of the item required for reorder. It also displays the last inventory count details.

Tip

To view the Stock Settings section, click the Stock Settings link.

To edit the stock settings

1.    Search and view an item record.

2.    In the Stock Setting section of the Master tab, click the Edit Stock Setting link.

The Edit Stock Settings dialog box opens.

3.    In the High Level box, type the maximum quantity of item that you must maintain in the inventory stock.

4.    In the Low Level box, type the minimum quantity of item that you must maintain in the inventory stock.

5.    In the Reorder Point box, type the quantity of the item that indicates an item reorder.

Note:

Optionally, you can perform the following:

·       In the Order Lead Time box, type the time required to receive the item after it is ordered.

·       In the Duration Type list, select the duration cycle of the order lead time.

·       In the Mean Time Between Failure box, type the time for which the item is expected to last.

·       In the Duration Type list, select the duration cycle of the mean time between failure.

·       In the Auto Order list, click one of the following:

o      Yes, if you want the Stock Order tab to display the reorder required for the item.

o      No, if you do not want the Stock Order tab to display the item reorder.

6.    In the Print Barcode list, click Yes, if you want to print the barcode of the item while receiving the item.

7.    In the Barcode Divisor box, type the number of barcodes that you want to print per page.

8.    Click one of the following:

o      Save to save the information and close the dialog box.

o      Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
