Adding a Note to a Work Order

You can add notes to a work order to mention any additional details or information related to the work order.

Tip

To view the Add a Note, on the  My Work Order Repair page, click the Add New Note link.

To add a note to a work Order
  1. At the top of the Work Order Repair screen, click Add New Note.

Note:

  • You can add a note to a repair, only if the spending limit for its work order is not exceeded.
  • If you click the Add New Note button and the work order cost reaches its limit, the TWSWeb message box is displayed to request authorization for the exceeded spending limit by sending an email to the approver.
  • Only after the spending limit is approved, you can add a new note.

The Add Work Order Note dialog box opens.

  1. In the Subject box, type a brief outline for your work order note.

Note: You can also enter a description for the note in the Work Order Note field, if required.

You can perform the following actions in the Work Order Note field:

  • To print your note, click  .
  • To perform a spell check, click .
  • To insert date, click .
  • To insert time, click .
