You add a task list for a specific association type of asset, repair type, and asset organization. A task list gets associated with a repair when a similar repair is added to a work order.
Note: The association types — asset, year-make-model, and asset class form a hierarchy wherein the asset is highest in the hierarchy, year-make-model in the middle, and asset class in the bottom. For example, if you add a task list by asset class and add a separate task list for one of the asset in the asset class by asset, the task list by asset overrides the task list by asset class for that asset. |
You can view the task list associated with a specific repair by clicking the View Task List link of the repair.
Tip
To view the Add Task List dialog box, click the Add Task List link.
1. Click the Maintenance module.
2. In the Actions section, click Manage Task List.
3. Click the Add Task List link.
The Add Task List dialog box opens.
4. In the Association Type list, select an association type for the asset.
Association type includes the asset number, asset year-make-model, or the asset class.
5. In the Repair Information field, select a repair type for the task list:
a. Click the Action search filter to display and select the repair action.
b. Click the Group search filter to display and select the repair group.
c. Click the Component search filter to display and select the repair component.
Note: · You can click Clear Filters to clear the values selected in the Action, Group, and Component search filters.

6. In the Organization field, select the asset organization.
Note: You can use the arrows available to select or remove the asset organization. |
7. Click one of the following:
o Save to save the information and close the dialog box.
o Save & New to save the information and add another record.
o Cancel to disregard any changes and close the dialog box.
8. In the Associated Items section, click the Add Associated Items link to add assets to task list.
9. In the Tasks section, click the Add Task Step link to add steps to the task list.
