Performing Advanced Search

You can also perform an advanced search for vendor records based on the multiple search options available in the Advanced Search Options - Vendors page.

Tip

To view the Advanced Search Options - Vendors page, click the Advanced Search Options - Vendors  link.

To perform an advanced vendor search

1.    In the Search Vendors section, click the Advanced Search link.

The Advanced Search Options - Vendors window opens.

2.    Specify the following search parameters:

§      In the Vendor Name or Code box, type the exact or the partial vendor name or vendor code that you want to search for.

§      In the Vendor Category list, select the vendor category.

§      In the Vendor Status list, select the status of the vendor.

§      In the City box, type the city name of the vendor.

§      In the State / Province / Region box, type the state name or district name or region name of the vendor.

§      Select the Exact Match check box if you are sure that you have entered the correct text in Vendor Name or Code, City, and State.

3.    Click Search.

The Search Results grid displays the fuel transactions along with the following information:

§      Vendor Name

§      City

§      State

§      Phone

§      Status

§      Category

4.    In the Action column, click View link next to the fuel record you want to view.

Navigation Tips:

  • You can expand or collapse panels by clicking on the arrow to the right of the title bars.
  • You can sort items by any category by clicking on that category's column heading.
  • You can move the panels by clicking and dragging the panel to the desired location.
  • You can move the columns in the data grid by dragging the column heading to the desired location.
  • To page through the list, use the arrows at the top or bottom of the panel. You can also specify here whether to display the entire list or ten items at a time.

Exporting the Search Results Grid

You can export the Search Results grid in the following formats:

·      Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)

·      Microsoft Word (.docx)

·      Comma-Separated Values (.csv)

To export the search results grid

1.    Click the Microsoft Excel ( ), Microsoft Word ( ), or Comma-Separate Value ( ) icon in the upper-right corner of the Search Results grid.

The File Download dialog box opens prompting you to Open, Save, or Cancel.

2.    Click Save.

The Save As dialog box is displayed with the File Type of the selected format.

3.    Browse to the desired location, specify a file name, and then click Save.

The Search Results grid is saved in the specified format at the specified location.
