The Create Reorder section lets you search and display the items that require a reorder. The Create Reorder section indicates an item for reorder when:
· The sum of available quantity and on-order quantity of the item is less than or equal to the stock reorder point of the item
· A default vendor assigned to the item
· An Auto Order of the item is set to Yes
· The stock type of the item is set to Stock
Tip
To view the Create Reorder page, click the Create Reorder link.
1. Click the Inventory module.
2. In the Actions section, click Ordering, and then click Stock Order.
The Create Reorder page opens.
3. In the Vendor Name list, select the vendor assigned to the item.
Note: The Vendor Name list displays only those vendors having items that qualify a reorder. |
4. In the Ship to Location list, select the location to deliver the reordered item.
Note: Optionally, type or select the information in the following fields to display the item you want to reorder: · In the Item Number box, type the unique number of the item that you want to reorder. · In the Storeroom list, select the storeroom in which the item exists. · In the Item Category list, select the assigned category of the item. · In the Bin Location box, type the bin location of the item. · In the Item Usage list, select the usage assigned to the item. · If you know the exact item number, select the Exact Match check box to exactly match the search result with the search parameters. |
5. Click Continue.
The Create Recommended Order dialog box opens.
6. Specify the item reorder details. For more information, refer to Adding the Item Reorder Details.
Upon saving the item reorder details, the Order page opens displaying the items that requires a reorder.
7. Select the item you want to reorder.
Note: · The Recommended Order Quantity box displays the difference between the high level quantity and the sum of available quantity and on order quantity of the item. · Optionally, modify the information in the Recommended Order Quantity, Unit Price, Shipping, and Tax fields. |
8. Click the Add Selected Items to Order link.
The selected item is reordered.
Note: Optionally, perform the following: · Click next to the reordered item to add other charges. For more information, refer to Adding Other Charges to Order. · Click the Add New Line Item link to order more items. For more information, refer to Adding Items to Order. · Click the Notes tab to add additional information related to the item reorder. For more information, refer to Adding Notes to Order. |
9. In the Order page, click one of the following:
o Click Finished - Close Order to close the order after receiving the items.
o Click Finished - Keep Order Open to keep the order open even after the receiving the items.
o Click Cancel Order to close the order before receiving the items.
o Click Print Order to print the order details.
You can export the Search Results grid in the following formats:
· Microsoft Excel (.xls)
· Microsoft Word (.doc)
· Comma-Separated Values (.csv)
1. Click the Microsoft Excel ( ), Microsoft Word ( ), or Comma-Separate Value ( ) icon in the upper-right corner of the Search Results grid.
The File Download dialog box opens prompting you to Open, Save, or Cancel.
2. Click Save.
The Save As dialog box is displayed with the File Type of the selected format.
3. Browse to the desired location, specify a file name, and then click Save.
The Search Results grid is saved in the specified format at the specified location.
