Fleet Availability Report
Purpose
Shows the percentage of time equipment was available to the users during a specified time period and grouping. Use this report to:
- Show the amount of available time on equipment.
- Determine problems with a certain class of equipment with an abnormal amount of downtime.
- Monitor changes in shop procedures resulting in more uptime.
- Publicize the efficient service you provide to your customers.
Provides
- Summaries by group for number of vehicles in group, total hours available for all vehicles in group in specified date range, hours down in date range, downtime percentage, availability percentage.
- Total hours available is calculated from the Equipment Availability Code (EAC) established for each piece of equipment in the group. It includes available hours for all equipment in the group, not just those shown in the report.
When to Run
As needed.
Running the Report
Steps to view a report
- Click the Reports tab.
The Standard window opens.

In the Maintenance section, click Fleet Availability Report.
- In the new window, select or enter the appropriate parameters.
Required parameters are indicated by an *.
- Click on the View Report button.
- Page through the document using the controls in the upper left.

- Search by a keyword using the Find/Next box at the top of the screen.

To update the information on the page, click the Refresh button at the top right of the screen.

- Click the Export button.

- Select the appropriate format.
This will generate a File dialogue box specific to your computer.
